Now it's officially fall which means each successive day will be colder and darker than the last for the next three months, and just when you feel like you can't bear it any more, some a**hole goes, "Hey! Today is the first day of winter!" which means another four months of torment before you can raise your head from the depths of your collar and walk upright, not braced at a 45-degree angle against the bitter wind. And when you're inside, you are a vertible fountain of fevered mucus.
Happy fall. I got up in the dark this morning.
